A little context:
January 8, 2001: I was 11-years-old and my mom passed away at the age of 40.
January 8, 2019: I took off work early, got my Sunbird out of its winter storage, and drove out to the cemetery to sit and think for a while.
It was a good mental refresh for me as my GAD (generalized anxiety disorder) has been flaring up lately.
The Sunbird did fine, except it got blown all over the road by these random gusty winds we were having. I have a new valve cover gasket and oil pressure sending switch to fix its minor oil leaks. Aside from those, all that’s left to fix is the amplifier for the factory radio and front struts.

I was tempted to take out the Camaro but I didn’t have childcare and putting two car seats in it just sounded like too much work today.

I would, but roadsalt is vicious, and it takes a couple of good rainfalls to wash it away.

Yeah. I’m lucky in that we hadn’t had any snow (and therefore, no salt) at the time I got the Sunbird out.

I kind of enjoy getting tossed around by wind and momentum on snow covered roads. Makes me feel alive, ya know?

Yup, I’ve had the Alfa out 3 or 4 times in the last two weeks.

I’ve had the 90 Mini our a few times. The winter here in Atlanta has been wet, but mild.
